Old Glory Bank Salutes American Patriot Toby Keith

ELMORE CITY, OK – Old Glory Bank CEO Mike Ring released the following statement today regarding the passing of American patriot and country music superstar Toby Keith.
“All of us at Old Glory Bank join the entire nation in mourning the loss of Toby Keith,” said Mike Ring. “Toby embodied the American principles of hard work and love of freedom. Everyone remembers how Toby united the nation during the aftermath of 9-11 with his anthem ‘Courtesy of the Red White and Blue,’ perfectly capturing Americans’ resolve to defend our people. Toby’s songs are a rich part of the American music landscape, and I can say with all confidence that Toby made us all wonder if we ‘should’ve been a cowboy.’”
Toby Keith passed away this morning after a long battle with cancer. His last public appearance was at the Grand Old Opry hosted People’s Choice Country Awards in September 2023 where he received the Country Icon Award.
