During the shutdown in the Fall of 2025, Old Glory Bank was honored to offer assistance to our customers who were directly impacted by the pause in federal payrolls.
Old Glory Bank knows that Security means more than protection from harm. It also means support through challenging circumstances. It means reassurance.
When our federal government is in a shutdown that impacts the wages of federal employees, we want to help our customers who are being forced to wait for their earned wages. Eligible Old Glory Bank customers can apply for a no-interest loan to help fill in some financial gaps during the shutdown.
Please complete Steps 1 and 2 to request a loan.
Loan requests will not be processed until both steps are complete. Please allow 1-2 business days for consideration.
If approved*, you will receive a secure link to your loan agreement. Funds will be disbursed to your to your Old Glory Bank checking account after your signed loan agreement is received.

Customers of Old Glory Bank with direct deposit from their federal employment may be eligible for a short-term, 0% interest loan during a government shutdown.
To qualify, you must:
If approved, loans up to $20,000 are available, up to the amount equal to the amount of your net salary that has actually been interrupted (and not paid) during the Shutdown period.

To qualify for this Government Shutdown Payday Loan, (i) your account must have an Old Glory Bank account already open and in “good standing” (as described in our Terms and Conditions), (ii) you must be employed by the US Government and impacted by the US Government shutdown such that you are not receiving your regular base pay from the US Government, and (iii) you must have at least two months of direct deposits from the US Government into your Old Glory Bank account.
Even if you satisfy these conditions, Old Glory Bank has the discretion to determine approval, which discretion will include (without limitation) your account history and other risk-based factors connected to your account activity.
Please note that we will not obtain any credit information or risk score from any consumer reporting agency or other outside source when making this decision. We may request additional documentation from you, such as a pay stub or identification, in processing your request.
